Lana Del Rey says she sang at Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s wedding for free.
The Young and Beautiful singer was long rumoured to have been booked by the famous couple to perform at their nuptials in Florence, Italy last weekend.
But Lana was swift to shoot down reports she scored a hefty $2.8 million payday for the gig upon arriving at Los Angeles International Airport Wednesday afternoon.
Asked by a photographer how much she would charge to sing at a friend’s wedding, the star insisted: “I’ll do it for free just like I did this one. I would never let a friend pay me to sing at their wedding.”
Kim and Kanye’s nuptials have dominated headlines for months following the couple’s engagement last year.
The couple finally tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in Florence on Saturday, exchanging vows at the Forte di Belvedere while surrounded by family and friends.
Kim on Tuesday uploaded a few pictures to her Instagram account, sharing her first personal photos of their special day with fans.
One shows the reality star walking down the aisle clasping hands with her new husband, while the couple’s baby, North, smiles in the arms of Kim’s mother, Kris Jenner, in the background.
Celebrity guests included singer John Legend and his model wife Chrissy Teigen, and designer Rachel Roy.
Lana was meanwhile spotted at the Palace of Versailles earlier on Friday by TMZ. Us Weekly reported the singer performed for the couple at the historical monument on Friday night.
