Coming on the back of his sold-out headline concert at Leyton Sixth Form College and a recent performance at the renowned Jazz Café, London Hip-Hop artist and producer Cynikal has just been added to the BBC Introducing stage on this year’s T In The Park festival, as announced on BBC Radio 1.

Taking place from July 11 to July 13, Cynikal joins an already impressive T In The Park line-up which also include the likes of Ella Eyre, Rudimental and Ed Sheeran across its several different festival stages.

Most notably, Cynikal is one of the very few confirmed British rappers who will be performing at T In The Park this year. He joins two heavyweight chart-toppers Tinie Tempah and Example to represent UK Hip-Hop at this year’s festival, bringing his own unique trademark of honest song-writing, lyrical dexterities and compelling musicianship to the forefront.

As he prepares to begin his summer festival season at T In The Park, Cynikal’s recent live session for the MOBO Awards in association with HTC has also just been released. Leading with his critically acclaimed single “Lost” from his Toby EP, Cynikal performed a resounding three-song set for the first episode of MOBO Live Series with his band The Street Orchestra which included a stripped down version of “Take Off” and his popular J.Cole remake “Losing My Balance”.

With his Toby EP garnering rave reviews from fans and critics alike, and the likes of BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra, Clash Magazine, HYPETRAK, Indie Shuffle and Hunger TV among other tastemakers supporting him so far this year, Cynikal goes into the summer and the second half of 2014 in a very exciting position with significant momentum for his forthcoming releases due to be released later in the year. Cynikal takes the stage at T In The Park at 4.30pm on July 12.
