Beyoncé and Jay Z want to “connect again” while they are in Paris, according to reports.
The 33-year-old singer and her beau have reportedly been under strain all summer after rumours surfaced that the 99 Problems singer had been unfaithful. Neither star has spoken about the allegations but they have continued to put on a united front during their On The Run joint tour. The series of shows have now reached the French capital Paris, and Jay, 44, is reportedly using his time in the City of Love to show his commitment to his wife.
“It’s been a really rocky summer for Jay and Bey and they want to put to bed all the rumours that they’re heading for a break,” a source told British newspaper the Daily Mirror. “That’s why Jay is going all out to treat Bey in Paris. They have some great memories of the city from their early days together and he wants to remind her of that.”
The music mogul is rumoured to have started his charm offensive by arranging a luxury rider for his spouse at the Stade De France, where the couple performed on Thursday. It apparently included a personal masseuse, a £180-a-pop manicurist, white china cups and plates, and Jo Malone citrus candles.
“He’s planning a super-fancy late dinner after the final show and is thinking about L’Avenue, one of their favourite places they always love to visit in Paris,” the source continued. “Then he’s arranged a massive after-party with lots of friends from London coming over. Now that the work part of their relationship is finished, they want to connect again as husband and wife – without all the outside stress that has plagued them this year.”
