Nicki Minaj is alleged to have smashed the windows of her now ex-boyfriend’s car with a baseball bat.

The 31-year-old singer is rumoured to have parted ways with Safaree Samuels in the summer, after a 14-year-romance.

According to TMZ, things came to a head after the pair got into a massive argument a few months ago. It is claimed that Nicki lost her temper and started shouting at Safaree, causing him to get angry too.

She is then alleged to have completely lost her cool, grabbing a baseball bat and running after Safaree as he exited the house. According to the site, Nicki then took her rage out on the 2012 Mercedes-Benz car. She didn’t stop there either, with claims she also bagged up his clothes and slung them out.

It’s suggested that police were called to the incident but neither the rapper nor her beau were placed under arrest. Safaree was apparently asked to leave the property though.

It seems that although Safaree used the car it actually belonged to Nicki, which is why she didn’t get arrested as people can damage their own things if they want to.

Not long after the couple are said to have gone their separate ways.

Neither has expressly confirmed the split, although Safaree has had a large tattoo of Nicki on his chest covered up.

Nicki’s latest album The Pinkprint is due out next month and she has already been teasing tracks from it. Her song Only caused many raised eyebrows when it was aired last month, thanks to its raunchy lyrics. It includes the star denying she has ever slept with Drake or Lil Wayne, with both men then imagining what it would be like if they had been intimate with her.

Many were astounded about the effect the song might have on Safaree, who later took to Twitter to brush off the concern.

“you do know i was there when "only" was recorded and recieved right?? that song is new to yall not me... give it a rest ppl… months old (sic),” he wrote.

He’s also been showing support for Nicki on the social networking site, including tweeting her new album artwork.
