Ariana Grande’s mom is said to think her daughter is “safe” with Big Sean.
The 21-year-old pop star only recently confirmed her relationship with the hip hop musician and things appear to be going well between the couple, who often post photos of each other on social media. It seems Ariana is so smitten with her new beau that she’s apparently already introduced him to her mother Joan Grande.
“[Joan] already treats him like her son!” a source told RadarOnline.com. “Joan loves Sean because she knows that Ariana is safe with him. All she really wants for Ariana is to be with someone for the right reasons and she believes that Sean truly loves her, so Joan loves him.
“It has gotten very serious very quickly.”
It was only last weekend that Ariana posted a photo of a bunch of pink roses on Instagram which were seemingly from Sean. She’s made their romance no secret and confirmed she’s off the market during a recent interview.
"I'm not that open... I'm still a little shy about it. But I am very happy and very loved up," she told British magazine Now before admitting she has moved on from her bad-boy phase.
“I like boys with a bad-boy kind of style, but Sean's the best boy I've ever met. He's a sweetheart," she gushed.
Ariana and Sean have teamed up for several tracks, including Right There, and the songstress is pleased to have her boyfriend’s approval on other ventures with fellow musicians.
"He’s usually very supportive of my collaboration selections but yeah, I don’t know, I just pick what I like and who I’m a fan of and hopefully it works out,” she said last month.
