Azealia Banks is happy with confrontation as long as critics “have something to say”.
The 24-year-old rapper has become embroiled in public feuds with the likes of Iggy Azalea and other celebrities in the past.
But Azealia claims she has no problem with criticism if it’s well informed.
“Say what u want about Azealia Banks, so long as you have something to say (sic),” she wrote on Twitter on Friday.
Australian pop star Iggy previously slammed Azealia, stating the Yung Rapunxel rapper has limited her success by talking so much rubbish about other people. Iggy addressed this matter on Twitter, writing: “you created your own unfortunate situation by being a bigot and don’t have the mental capacity to realize yet. Probably never will. (sic)”
But in her brief rant via the micro-blogging social media platform on Friday, Azealia made it clear money or stardom isn’t as important to her as leaving a legacy.
“I am richer by making a space for myself in your minds than I am by making room for your money in my wallet,” she tweeted.
“There's really no sense in trying to be the richest woman in the cemetery. Because they say you actually die twice..... Once when you die physically and a second the last time anyone ever says your name. I'm trying to stretch that second death to the MOON and back LOL”
The latest controversial subject Azealia jumped in on is the alleged feud between Miley Cyrus and Nicki Minaj.
It all came to a head at the MTV VMAs on Sunday, where Nicki called Miley out in front of the audience, branding her a "b***h".
Azealia thinks the whole thing is laughable, as in her opinion, neither artist makes worthwhile music.
"It's so funny to wake up and see nicki and Miley or nicki and taylor fighting when you ALL make basic ass music. it's a ki !!! (sic)” Azealia wrote.
