My name is Jeremy Porter. I go by Porta, Porta Boy. I got my name from my father just an alteration of our last name. I'm from Walker, Louisiana but spend most of my time in Baton Rouge.
My musical influences coming up were kind of an odd combination of Michael Jackson, Luther Vandross and JCole. I didn't listen to much hip hop growing up. I was more of a 90s RnB child. I have a single out now called #WCW. The video is out now on WSHH and YouTube and also its available on all digital retailers for download or streaming. It will be on my upcoming EP that is currently untitled.
My dream collab would be with Tank. I feel like he's a musical genius. I'm currently not touring but I hope to in the future. I get a lot a support from a lot of national and local DJ's and a loyal group of fans. My plan for 2017 is to be more consistent and drop more music in shorter amounts of time just for my fans and to build my fan base.
