The world’s most in-demand electronic producer, Marshmello, has delivered a very special sign language video for ‘You Can Cry’; his latest single, featuring critically acclaimed singer/ songwriter James Arthur, and Three 6 Mafia member, Juicy J.
The platinum-selling producer wants to break down communication barriers and connect with all of his fans, using sign language to make the track accessible to the deaf or hard of hearing. The video coincides with the launch of the #YouCanCryASL challenge on video sharing app Musical.ly, and it encourages all fans to learn and share their sign language interpretation videos of the single ‘You Can Cry’.
The single, which has amassed over 20 million streams since release, follows Mello’s recent UK Top 5 single & iTunes/ Shazam worldwide chart topper, ‘Friends’ ft. Anne-Marie and platinum selling single ‘Silence’ ft. Khalid, as well as latest album, Joytime II, which dropped last week.
Marshmello, the worlds biggest masked producer who continues to remain anonymous behind his permanent smile, is re-defining today’s music industry, one hit after another. Having exploded into the top 5 Spotify artists in the world, the anonymous artist has clocked up a staggering 2 billion streams, ahead of Ed Sheeran, David Guetta, and Calvin Harris.
