New book 'Keep Music Evil: The Brian Jonestown Massacre Story', about the famous band and their infamous leader Anton Newcombe, is set to be published April 16 in the US and May 1 in the UK by independent publisher Jawbone Press. The book comes fifteen years after Ondi Timoner's film that made them famous, "Dig!", first premiered at Sundance before going on to win the Grand Jury Prize.

Like "Dig!", the book also features The Dandy Warhols, whose new album "Why You So Crazy" arrives Friday, January 25, while The Brian Jonestown Massacre's new self-titled record is out March 15.

Author Jesse Valencia's band Gorky's new record, "Mathemagician," will be out in April, around the time of the book. Their first single, 'Action Pants', received some production advice from The Dandy Warhols' Courtney-Taylor Taylor, who told the writer he wished he'd written it himself.
