Rodriguez’ Rising Star Award was given to the newcomer alongside some of the music industry’s elite, including Diane Warren, John Legend, Justin Timberlake, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, Jon Batiste, Ludwig Goransson, Emile Mosseri and Benjamin Wallfisch. Two-time Grammy winner and Oscar nominee
Kenny Loggins received the HMMA Career Achievement honor presented by legendary songwriter and producer David Foster.

Hailing from London (UK), Rodriguez, who is about to drop his new single, ‘Doesn’t Matter To Me’, is best known for his acting chops and British voice-over work. Aside from six more single releases, the young actor is set to appear in the new Taryn Manning (Orange Is The New Black) and Vanessa Rubio (Cobra Kai) documentary, Content is King.
The Hollywood Music In Media Awards (HMMA) is the first award organization to honor original music (Song and Score) in all forms of visual media. The HMMA has historically been representative of the nominations and winners of other mainstream awards shows that occur months later.
