Patrick Girondi, originally from the South Side of Chicago, is an Italian-American singer-songwriter, author and founder of a world-leading gene therapy company. A true jack-of-all-trades, Patrick has released five albums, published a book, and has led his company Errant Gene Therapeutics since 2003, with the mission of curing Sickle Cell Disease and Thalassemia.

Back with their second single off their new album ‘Orphan’s Return’ - Pat Girondi & The Orphans Dream present ‘I Did My Best’, out now on all streaming platforms.

A track inspired by old school 70’s motown and filled with funk, soul and rock vibes, their latest offering delves into Patrick’s personal experience in the United States’ healthcare system. Recorded in Sammichele di Bari, Italy, ‘I Did My Best’ was produced by Farelive, and is the perfect track for fans of the Temptations and Sly & The Family Stone.

Singing of the unjust healthcare system, Patrick touches on the stories of patients who are sadly taken advantage of and conned into being over-prescribed with medication from doctors who know that their patients may be unaware of what they actually need.
