Zovik unveils new single, soaring cover of Leonard Cohen’s, 'Hallelujah'

Well known for her rich and distinctive tone, singer-songwriter Zovik’s latest release is a soaring cover of Leonard Cohen’s 1984 song, “Hallelujah.” This powerful addition to her exciting, uplifting catalog is already racking up thousands of views and streams via streaming platforms and the music video on YouTube.
Fans are gushing over Zovik’s beautiful rendition of Cohen’s famous song, praising her powerful voice that adds notes of lightness and hope to an otherwise dark and moody melody. Backed by piano drums and keyboard, her cover of Cohen’s 1984 song features a quiet-loud dynamic, allowing the track to breathe and thrive.
"I fell in love with 'Hallelujah' when I first heard it," Zovik says. "I knew I had to perform it and add my own touch. I felt I could really add to the song with my voice."

Her debut 2016 song, “Holding On,” was co-written by Zovik, Philly K, and Madi Rindge, and produced by Gemini Muziq. "Holding On" reached No.16 on Lebanon's NRJ radio station—an almost unheard-of feat for an emerging artist. Working with EDM producers, Anthony Keyrouz and Ludomir, she penned the song “Take Me,” which received airplay on Radio One Lebanon and drew a lot of attention.
Zovik continues to write, record, and release inspirational songs to widespread praise, but she isn’t only a talented singer-songwriter. She also has her master’s degree in civil engineering, giving her a unique perspective and balance in her life.
