Thanks for your time, Rivessi. Can you give us a little background on when you started producing and how you got into it?

I first started gaining an interest in music whilst I was in school. I used to play the piano from a very young age and I loved getting creative and putting chords together to create new melodies. When I was around 15, I started going on to using production software and worked on creating music digitally rather than with physical instruments.

Over time I kept improving on my skills, learning new ones and this led to where I am today. I am always still continuously learning new skills and discovering my sound as I don’t think I’m quite there yet. But life is a journey and so is creating music so I just embrace it.

What was your main inspiration to start creating music?

I would say my main inspiration was all the DJ’s and artists I saw live. The energy I felt in their concerts made me want to be on the other side feeling that energy from the stage. I hope I can get to a position in my career where I can experience that on a regular basis. That’s when I know I have succeeded.

I am also very creative; I would say I always have been really. I enjoy coming up with new ideas and experimenting through music. So, my creativity also inspires me to try new things.

Do you have any upcoming releases?

My newest collaboration track ‘Without Your Love’ with Brøder is out now on all platforms with the label Vibing Deep. I am pretty excited for this collaboration as it’s my first record label signing. Brøder are fantastic and I’m blessed to have the opportunity working with them. We wanted this track to bring a different vibe to deep house music, creating something immersive and mysterious but upbeat and groovy at the same time.

I have a few other releases planned for this year. I’m also working on my first EP too so hopefully that will be ready by the end of the year.

Anywhere online where curious fans can listen to your music and find out more about you?

Fans can listen to my music on all streaming platforms. I keep people up to date with any new release on my Instagram @Rivessii so if anyone want to find out more, that would be a good place to start.
