Music-News.com is proud to host the exclusive world premiere of 'A Hundred Lovers' Simeon Hammond Dallas.

Wickedly badass, the newest release from Simeon Hammond Dallas is an ode to independent women putting themselves first in a male dominated world. A Hundred Lovers is as honest as it is playful and draws influence from folk, blues, country and soul music with toe-tapping force.

Hailing from London’s Camden Town, Simeon first made her mark with her country-rock feminist anthem Wild Women in January 2019 and delivered her debut EP Manic Pixie Dreams to critical acclaim later that year. 2020 saw the release of two new singles and A Hundred Lovers comes ahead of her second EP, Make It Romantic, set for release later this year. Her sound sits at the crossroads of genre and with a determination to be authentically true to herself, Simeon is all the better for it.

The pint-sized powerhouse confesses to an overactive imagination and a desire to live her life as the protagonist in her own rom-com and A Hundred Lovers comes as the perfect soundtrack. Having written, arranged and produced the track herself, with Leon Itzlet at Kheda Studio, North London, Simeon sings out to empower other women to hold the rains of their own narrative confidently and unapologetically.

About the track, Simeon reveals, “I wrote A Hundred Lovers after a text conversation with a friend, I told her jokingly, I have a hundred lovers, and subsequently wrote the song within the hour. I’m releasing it as an anthem for the sunshine months of holiday romances and love affairs.”
