Hampton Court Palace Festival kicked off in spectacular style last night with an incredible set from UB40 featuring Ali Campbell. The audience was treated to a sensational set of greatest hits from the reggae legends including classic No.1 singles ‘(I Can’t Help) Falling In Love With You’ and closing fan favourite ‘Red Red Wine’ which garnered a mass sing-a-long.
Performing live from the iconic Base Court of the historic Hampton Court Palace, UB40 were the first act to take the stage in this year’s run of hugely popular shows with George Benson, Jack Savoretti and Crowded House completely sold out. Hampton Court Palace Festival is a series of truly special and unique open-air concerts. Artists perform in an intimate 3,000-seat auditorium in Base Court, set against the backdrop of Henry VIII’s magnificent Tudor Palace.
