Zight releases his latest single 'Work It Harder' featuring Chris Willis on vocals and mastered by Maximals.
On how the collaboration came to be Zight reflected, "I have been a big fan of Chris Willis since I was a kid, listening to his songs with David Guetta like “Getting Over You” & “Love is Gone”. So when I finished the demo of “Work It Harder”, I boldly sent it to him on Instagram asking for collaboration. It was a dream-come-true moment when I received a “YES” from this childhood idol."
Willis went onto work on the chorus when it was just an instrumental part and he improvised the lyrics and hook for Zight to fill in. Maximals was also drafted in to boost the song to it's full potential.
A truly international affair, the music video was shot in Madrid by Azulroto and directed by Adonis Azulroto and Bea Hohenleiter. A low budget project, featuring two female boxers and a coach, the final cut delivers a well orchestrated and punchy workout which fuses the visuals, lyrics and sound.
Right further explains, "One metaphor that the director implemented in the music video is the Ukraine & Cuban country flags. I asked, what the hell is that? I didn't mention anything about country flags! He said, it's a conflict between 2 ideologies."
