49th & Main have shared the video for new single 'Never Gonna Stop'.
'Never Gonna Stop' is the latest single to be taken from 49th & Main's highly anticipated debut EP 'Must Be Nice', which was released last Friday via Counter Records (an imprint of Ninja Tune).
Effortlessy capturing the reflective, yet summer-ready vibe of the single, the video for 'Never Gonna Stop' stars Ben Banishahi, a notable GullyLDN breakdancer who has worked with the likes of Ed Sheeran and is directed by Saman Aminzadeh who has also worked with Murkage Dave, Tourist, The Face and Channel 4.
Speaking on the creation of the song, 49th & Main's Ben O'Sullivan says, "As soon as I found the doo-wop sample it was over. Love this song so much. Was listening to a lot of 'Fred Again..' and 'Jamie xx' and I think it's pretty obvious."
Hailing from Kilkenny, Ireland, the duo have been making unbelievable waves internationally - selling out their debut headline shows 6 months in advance and amassing tens of millions of streams, appearing as Spotify's Radar cover stars earlier this year and playing Glastonbury Festival last month.
'Must Be Nice' is an effortless statement of intent from the duo, featuring the singles 'Human Condition', 'Up To Something', 'Streetlights' and new single 'Never Gonna Stop'. Spanning across a multitude of genres yet continuing to showcase their remarkably unique identity, 'Must Be Nice' is a definitive collection of tracks that seamlessly showcase why everyone is talking about 49th & Main.
