Lucy Spraggan celebrates the 10-year anniversary of her first X Factor audition with brand-new single Everything Changes - out now. The single samples Lucy’s debut single Last Night as performed at that very audition.

Everything Changes sees Lucy look back on the past decade and the chart-topping singer songwriter and LGBTQ+ icon reflects on the changes that not just she has faced but also what the world has experienced since 2012. Describing the brilliant new track, Lucy adds: “I wanted the song to feel nostalgic and reflective - the last ten years have been pivotal for me and I have become a very different person to the 19-year-old that wrote the original Beer Fear. I am 3 years sober now and passionate about life's quirks rather than constantly fighting against them. Everything Changes is what was created in the essence of that. It's an opportunity for me (and anyone else who watched my audition all those years ago) to look back over the last decade and see how much has changed.”

Lucy was the first contestant in X Factor history to score a Top 40 single and album before the live shows aired. Since her appearance on X Factor, Lucy has sold over 140k albums and reached over 140 million streams on Spotify alone with over 540k monthly listeners. Choices, Lucy’s last album released in 2021, debuted at #5 in the Official UK Albums charts.

As well as the news of Everything Changes, Lucy also has big plans for 2023. Today she announces a headline UK tour to take place in May 2023 and next year will also see a new album, a book and a podcast. Tickets go on sale next Thursday 1st September at 10am. Lucy is thrilled to be back on the road (tour dates below) and comments: “I cannot wait to be back on the road touring Everything Changes and my new album. During lockdown I learnt an awful lot about myself, including the fact that, in the past, I toured perhaps a little too much. When touring was taken away I had very little else to do and realised that most of my life had been built around it. I spent a lot of time working on the parts of my life that weren't being on the road and (once lockdown was over) I took a short break from it. The break from touring served as inspiration for how much better I can make my shows and how very much I love playing to a live audience. I cannot wait to come back with a bang, new reflective material and playing some of the biggest headline shows I've ever played.”
