Up-and-coming rapper YBE K@n5eR aka Dr1pGodd is one such talent who is gearing up to take the industry by storm. He is an artist who is creating music to help those suffering from cancer in every possible way.
MichaelB Dowell is popularly known by his stage name, YBE(Young Business Executive) K@n5eR, and for all the right reasons. He has dedicated his talent to helping cancer patients, either by healing them with his soul-soothing music or providing them with better medical facilities to beat the disease. He adopted the name K@n5eR to highlight the cause he is fighting for and let the world know about it. K@n5eR's real-life experiences have shaped his perception of life, and now he is on a mission to help others live happy and healthy lives.
Born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio, K@n5eR moved to North Carolina with his mother and little brother. Throughout his childhood, K@n5eR watched many of his close family members suffer and even die due to cancer. His uncle and grandmother battled cancer, while his aunt succumbed to the disease while living in her room. The artist’s mother has managed to beat cancer and has been his greatest inspiration so far. Her confidence and courage in battling the disease is one of K@n5eR’s greatest strengths and continues to give him purpose to exploit his talent.
Since childhood, K@n5eR has always been passionate about music, but his dreams of becoming a rapper, felt an immense setback. While living in North Carolina, K@n5eR made some bad decisions and ended up imprisoned. His ambitions came to a sudden halt, but nothing could deter K@n5eR from his passion. In the prison, K@n5eR listened to different rappers and read about their stories. He started by following every rapper he could hear of to learn more about their brand and how they turned it into a business.
Later, K@n5eR moved to Florida and started making progress in his career. Although it has been a roller coaster ride for him with bad decisions, K@n5eR lived through all those challenges to pursue his goal of becoming a rapper. Now he has an entire team of artists, producers, managers, A&R’s, stylists, designers, financial advisors, all working on building his brand. YBE K@n5eR got the nickname Dr1pGodd because of his refined sense of fashion, style, combining colors, sparkling jewelry and video aesthetics. K@n5eR’s team shares his vision and makes every effort to build his brand into a successful business.
K@n5eR is still focused on learning because he believes nothing can reach perfection in art. He is also focusing on expanding his network in the industry before making any considerable investment in his business. He is working on his upcoming album “WelXome2Dr1p” under his label “Gr1ndMobb.” He also owns a marketing company and has an upcoming CBD line in partnership with Taylor Mears.
So far, YBE K@n5eR has worked with prominent artists who he has signed under his label Gr1ndMobb such as “BigCity” and “YBE Hustle”, “Ace1Yoda”,R&B sensation “J Strong AKA J Bism” and Executive Producer “L33M on da Beat Studios”, who has defined himself as one of “THE” hottest upcoming producers in game at present time.”
K@n5eR looks forward to bringing more refreshing music and also using his earnings to start a high-end cancer hospital and a cancer fund. He wants every patient to feel like they are on vacation there and even offers them a chance to record music to feel alive.
