The young electronic music prodigy, ESPER, aka Max Margot, is making his mark on the EDM scene, and garnering many accolades for his work as a musician, DJ, and producer.

Born and raised in a village called Orbey in Alsace, France, Max Margot was Inspired at a very young age by artists such as Justice, Daft Punk, David Guetta, Martin Solveig, Bob Sinclar or Martin Garrix, and started as a self made artist : “I became very passionate at a very young age (6-7 years old) about all things related to music and show lighting and taught myself until I went to Los Angeles to do the Los Angeles Recording School.”--he says

Max Margot played his first shows in clubs and local festivals when he turned 12 years old, after he met his first mentor in the context of a school internship.
When he moved to Montreal, Canada to study music and science, Max also started partnering with local club promoters and played DJ sets in clubs and at university parties regularly. He hit a turning point at that moment and his career started to take off. It took two years for Max to decide to move to Los Angeles and specialize his education and training in music.

An alumnus of the Los Angeles Recording School, Max Margot has refined his production skills to compete with the industry's top producers, with his work with NGHTMRE, Deorro, Habstrakt and other legends in the Bass scene, along with joining the producers team of Ye's 11th studio album, Donda 2, which featured Playboi Carti, XXXTentacion, Lil Nas X, Justin Bieber, Cardi B, Halsey, and more.

His personal project, ESPER, came to life in 2020. The name derives from the concept of extrasensory perception, or ESP, more commonly known as "the sixth sense." Max Margot explains : “ESPER comes from Extrasensory Perception, or ESP, referring to the reception and processing of information not obtained through the physical senses. My goal is to create a world where each person can experience their own escape from reality.”

As a complete artist, ESPER creates a hybrid of feel-good melodies and synths with sub- wrecking basslines to create his own unique and captivating sounds, changing the face of bass music and creating a new experience for the senses.

In August 2020, Max Margot released his first single as ESPER, "My mind", as part of his first EP "DREAMS", released in 2021 with Bass Camp Music. Streams of the EP surpassed half a million in the first year of release. It has now received more than 800 000 plays across all platforms.
