Nathan Dawe has unveiled a blockbuster new UKG-flavoured Star One Remix of latest single, ‘Sweet Lies’ ft. Talia Mar, D Double E, Asher D & Queen Millz.
With Nathan’s bubbling original mix taking cues from Shanks & Bigfoot’s 1999 UK Garage classic, ‘Sweet Like Chocolate’, hotly-tipped producer duo Star One enlist legendary MOBO-winning grime MC, D Double E, and revered actor and rapper Ashley Walters (aka So Solid Crew’s Asher D) to trade killer new verses alongside rising Midlands-based artist, Queen Millz.
‘Sweet Lies’ follows a long list of hit singles for Nathan Dawe including the anthemic ’21 Reasons’ ft. Ella Henderson, which claimed him his second UK Top 10 single last summer, ‘No Time For Tears’ with Little Mix, BRIT-nominated, Platinum-selling UK #3 single ‘Lighter’ ft. KSI, ‘Way Too Long’ ft. Anne-Marie & MoStack and breakout single, ‘Flowers’ ft. Jaykae, which peaked at #12 early in 2020. As a DJ, Nathan also returned to Ibiza Rocks for a second consecutive weekly residency last summer and played some of the biggest festivals of his career so far, including Isle Of Wight Festival, Boardmasters and Sundown, and played his biggest headline show yet at Birmingham’s Utilita Arena in December.
