Nashville is famous for its country music scene, but every now and then, a different genre captures the attention of Music City and its music-loving denizens. A case in point is Circus On Broadway, a buzzing rock band made up of seasoned musicians. The group is shaking things up a level with their powerful sound and heartfelt lyrics.

Led by frontman Munday and producer and guitarist Mike Sanders, Circus On Broadway's new single "Undivided" is making waves in the music industry. Having previously played with other bands and solo at music festivals and in arenas around the world, the band behind Circus on Broadway are just getting started.

With this first-hand experience in the music industry, Circus On Broadway's members have created and played music that has ignited crowds since they played in bands in high school, leading them to tour with notable rock and metal acts.

Growing up in Nashville, they all shared a love for the city's hard rock, punk, and metal scene, spending countless hours at concerts and shows. Munday, in particular, has vivid memories of attending concerts alone as a teenager and still joining the mosh pit today because of his love for rock and hardcore music.

Now, the band wants to share their passion for music and stories that they've lived through themselves. The song "Undivided" is characterized by Munday's struggle against emotional and physical abuse from an abusive alcoholic growing up who later found beautiful freedom. It's also about his own journey of overcoming suicide, addiction, and severe depression. For Munday, music has been a lifeline: “Music can save a life. It's good to hear other artists who struggle and make you feel like you are not alone and that life is worth living."

The band's fresh sound is both atmospheric and powerful, bringing traditional elements to modern rock. And they're already making a name for themselves, having been featured on major rock radio stations.

But it's not just their distinct sound that sets Circus on Broadway apart; it's the compelling personal tales behind their music. "We all have stories to tell," Munday says. "Nashville is a tough cookie, but we feel confident we will break the glass ceiling over our city because we wholeheartedly believe people will enjoy the new sound we bring to the table."

It's clear that music runs in the family for Munday, who grew up in a musical household. His father, Hank, is his hero for singing "Thundercats" and even performing a song for James Brown written for his homecoming in the 1990s. Brown himself called Munday's father "Mr. Soul."

Circus on Broadway’s music is not just about entertainment; it's about connecting with people on a deeper level. "We want everyone else to enjoy our good times, overcome the sucky times, and headbang to some incredible rock," Munday says.

Intent on embracing music in the hopes of overcoming life's struggles, Nashville’s Circus On Broadway is a band on the rise. With their electrifying sound and emotional lyrics, they're bringing something new and exciting to the local scene—and inspiring music fans beyond Music City along the way.
