American singer/songwriter Ryan Beatty unveils the live performance video for album track, ‘White Teeth’.
A fan favourite from Ryan’s recent album Calico, the stripped-back performance of ‘White Teeth’ is a gorgeous listen and is the third and final instalment of the young Californian’s live performance videos, captured at Valentine Recording Studios, where part of Calico was recorded.
A timeless and transportive body of work, for Calico Ryan and co-producer Ethan Gruska collaborated with a lineup of musicians including guitarist Dylan Day (Jenny Lewis, Laura Veirs), drummer Matt Chamberlain (Lorde, Brandi Carlisle), saxophonist Sam Gendel (Sylvan Esso, Perfume Genius), string arranger Rob Moose (FKA twigs, Laura Marling), and Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon, who contributed additional production and instrumentation.
Ryan embraced a deliberately slow-paced and often meditative process throughout the making of Calico. The result is a timeless and transportive body of work, providing abundant space for the transformation and healing that led to its creation. He will embark on his California In Every Colour North American Tour this Autumn, bringing Calico to stages across the US.
