Fresh from collaborating with ArrDee on the riotous ‘One Direction’, Manchester’s powerhouse MC Bugzy Malone is back with new single, ‘Mrs Lonely’.

Flipping two UKG classics in Fish Go Deep’s ‘The Cure & The Cause’ and Artful Dodger’s seminal early ‘00s groover, ‘Movin’ Too Fast’, ‘Mrs Lonely’ sees Bugzy lay down sharp, infectious verses over a bubbling slice of peak-time 4x4 house. Keeping one foot in the club, it lands as a fresh nod to a discography that already boasts collaborations with UKG royalty in DJ Luck & MC Neat (‘Through The Night’) and dance titans, Chase & Status (‘Don’t Stop’).

‘Mrs Lonely’ also drops alongside an official video, directed by Myles Whittingham (Giggs, Sneakbo, Lily Allen) and shot amidst a backdrop of plush hotel lobbies, VIP sections in the club and Bugzy’s Lamborghini Urus; a suave, swagged-out toast to the high life.

Proving that he’s just as comfortable spitting over moody grime instrumentals and iced-out rap beats as he is full-tilt dance records, ‘Mrs Lonely’ lands as the first in a series of new Bugzy Malone singles, with more on the horizon soon.

To coincide with the release of ‘Mrs Lonely’, Bugzy Malone will also launch his first ever fragrance line – Fortitude by House Of Vision – on Friday 25 August, which will be stocked in over 200 stores UK wide.

‘Mrs Lonely’ follows the UK Top 10 success of ‘Out Of Nowhere’ with Teedee – Bugzy’s highest charting single to date – and more broadly, 5x UK Top 10 albums, including 2021’s ‘The Resurrection’, which peaked at #7 on the UK Albums Chart only a year after Bugzy was seriously injured in a quadbike accident.

Elsewhere, Bugzy Malone has collaborated with everyone from Dizzee Rascal to Dermot Kennedy to Aitch and Chase & Status, as well as former rival, Chip, and even branched out into acting; he featured in both Guy Ritchie’s 2019 blockbuster, ‘The Gentleman’ and 2023 spy comedy, ‘Operation Fortune: Ruse De Guerre’, alongside Hugh Grant, Jason Statham and Aubrey Plaza.

‘Mrs Lonely’ is out now.
