Today, Swedish sensation Benjamin Ingrosso returns with his electrifying new single, "Kite." This chart-topping sensation, known for his catchy tunes and undeniable talent, invites you to soar to new heights with his latest musical masterpiece via Polydor /Universal.
"Kite" is a soaring anthem of euphoria and freedom, capturing the exhilarating feeling of a new encounter and the endless possibilities it brings. It's about embracing life as a thrilling journey, a vibrant party, and the pursuit of love. Written by Benjamin himself, along with acclaimed songwriters Anya (Kylie Minogue), Jon Shave (Britney Spears, Zayn), Salem Al-Fakir, and Vincent Pontare, and produced by Jon Shave and Vargas & Lagola (Avicii, Madonna, Sia, A$AP Rocky, Lady Gaga), "Kite" is a musical masterpiece that transcends time and genre boundaries.
Benjamin Ingrosso's creative journey in "Kite" draws inspiration from the enchanting melodies that filled his childhood home, weaving together classic Swedish pop and soul from the 70s with modern influences from the late 90s. This fusion of old and new, both musically and visually, sets "Kite" apart as a timeless gem.
Speaking about his new music, Benjamin Ingrosso explains, "The rawness and grit of punk have been given more space, and I have consciously chosen not to have a more polished and 'modern' sound. 'Timelessness' is a key word for everything I've tried to create now. The lyrics are more straightforward, written from personal experiences but sometimes with a broader perspective. I don't think I've ever been as excited about my music as I am with this song, and all the new music you're going to get from me this year.”
"Kite" serves as the lead single from Ingrosso's highly anticipated upcoming album, slated for release later this year. Fans can also expect to experience the magic of "Kite" live as Benjamin embarks on his "Better Days Tour 2024," spanning the UK and Europe. The tour includes stops in Germany, the

In 2023, Benjamin Ingrosso embarked on his first summer tour, "Allt Det Vackra" (Swedish for 'All That Is Beautiful'), which saw him perform at various festivals and venues, captivating over 100,000 adoring fans across Scandinavia. Reflecting on this journey, Benjamin shares, "It feels crazy that this time last year was the first time I went out on tour, and now a year after I'm not only going out on a new tour in Sweden, but also a tour through the whole of Europe. Already last year, I met several people during the whole tour where people had traveled from all over to experience the concerts in Sweden. It feels incredible to be able to perform in front of them in their own cities now instead. It feels both exciting, nervous, and powerful at the same time, and I'm so terribly excited to show off everything we have prepared for this year.”
With the Eurovision competition taking place in Sweden this year, the birthplace of some of the biggest music artists of our time, Benjamin Ingrosso's "Kite" emerges as a thrilling anthem that captures the essence of musical excellence that Sweden is known for.
