Having already amassed over half a billion streams on Spotify, Sweden’s Boy in Space (aka Robin Lundbäck) is already back with his second release of 2024 in the shape of Finally Fine Without You out now.
With his always impressive vocals atop bass-thumping synths Finally Without You is another slice of pop-perfection from the Swedish powerhouse - a slow building bop about the struggle of moving on from a broken relationship, a common theme but beautifully dissected by one of Sweden’s most exciting exports.
Boy in Space: “Finally Fine Without You" is a real breakup anthem, written from a quite realistic and honest point of view. Moving on but also wanting the best for the person you love/loved.”
This year marks a new beginning for Boy in Space. Having come face-to-face with some serious physical struggles, multiple surgeries and wrestling with his own mental challenges of ADHD, a shift was needed in the way he approached both his personal life and musical journey. Having taken some time out to reset and recover, he’s now focused on moving forward and taking back control of an already impressive career. With over half a billion streams to his name he’s enjoyed collaborations with a star-studded legion of artists including superstars like Alan Walker and NOTD, along with behind the scenes help from renown producers such as Freddy Alexander. This has allowed Boy in Space to not only learn from some of the most impactful voices in music, but further refine his individual talent - giving himself a convincing head start towards global stardom.
“The past few years have been both the best and the worst years of my life,” says Robin. “I've faced physical struggles, undergoing three surgeries in under two years, while wrestling with the mental challenges of ADHD. There are so many things I've learnt, and so many things I wish I would have handled better. I view this relaunch as an opportunity for self-improvement in both my musical journey and personal life. With a brand new team and attitude - I'm so excited to finally be working towards something stable and inspiring while putting my imprint on today's pop sound.”
