Today [Friday 15th March] sees one of the British rap scene’s most versatile voices, the MOBO-award winning artist Stefflon Don release “Big Fat Machine”. The single is the latest track from her hugely anticipated debut album ‘Island 54’, featuring drill rapper Fivio Foreign and production from Amapiano heavyweights Major League DJz.

Underpinned by typically heavy-hitting production, fuelled by low-tempo bass and hypnotic percussion from South African twins Major League DJz, ‘Big Fat Machine’ sees Stefflon Don spare no punches as she spits her trademark flow over an infectious Amapiano production. Much-loved Brooklyn-bred drill pioneer Fivio Foreign is also on board as the two rappers join forces for the first time.

A track primed and ready for dancefloors and festivals alike, ‘Big Fat Machine’ follows the rap sensations sultry December release ‘Deadly’ alongside Victony and offers a fresh snapshot into the world of Island 54, adding another layer to the diversity of sounds that the project will encompass.

Speaking on the single, Stefflon Don said:

"Big Fat Machine is a special song to me. Working with Major League for the first time, when they sent me the beat, I knew I could do something special with it. Once I'd laid my verses down, I knew having Fivio on board would bring a different, but necessary, flavour to the track. It's been a long time in the making and I can't wait for everyone to hear it."

Possessing all of the ingredients for a prime-time club anthem, ‘Big Fat Machine’ sees Stefflon Don at the top of her game, showcasing all the energy and flavour we’ve come to expect from the Birmingham-born artist.
