Multi-platinum singer and dance music icon CeCe Peniston has teamed up with singer Shazam Conner and his legendary R&B group H-Town, to collaborate on a brand new house remix of the groups single “Strokey Doke”.

Shazam Conner & H-Town released the original version of “Strokey Doke" last year. The R&B slow jam garnered millions of streams across platforms, and reached #27 on Billboard's Adult R&B Airplay chart.

Last Friday (July 19), a house remix by British electronic producer Justin Novak was released via Shazam Music Inc/So, Let's Talk Ltd. The remix features brand new vocals from CeCe Peniston. Upon its release, the remix received editorial support on platforms such as Apple Music, who added it to their flagship New in Dance playlist and to their 'Best New Songs' feature in select countries.

Singer/songwriter Shazam Conner is the lead singer of H-Town, an R&B group also consisting of Darryl G.I. Jackson and the late Dino Conner. H-Town achieved international acclaim in the 90s, widely known for their 1993 platinum single “Knockin' da Boots”, which has become an R&B classic. While H-Town continue to release music and tour worldwide, Shazam is also pursuing a solo career and has a single titled "Weekend" with Bobby V releasing this coming Friday.

Cece Peniston’s debut album Finally sold over one million copies in 1992. The album featured the hit single “Finally”, which achieved Billboard #1 chart status, sold multi-platinum world-wide and made her a household name. CeCe scored Billboard Top-10 chart hits with follow up singles including: "We Got A Love Thang," "Keep On Walkin," "I'm Not Over You" and in 2001 with "Lifetime To Love" which achieved Billboard #2 chart status.
