Tomos Eames shares a heartfelt and powerful message to the “Other Side” in “Black on the Other Side”
Based on his experience of losing his father to Cancer in his twenties this song is a euphoric rallying cry to the other side.

“Black on The Other Side” is a message to the place beyond - from a songwriter and artist, bearing his soul in audio form. Welsh songwriter Tomos Eames shares a piece of folk-driven, dark americana - an ode to Tomos' father, the realities of Death and what happens on the other side. It’s a track thats, from the start - rich in emotion and vulnerability. Showcasing an artist who touches on the personal and meaningful in his songwriting.

From the heart of Cardiff, Wales, Tomos Eames emerges as a dynamic force in the music scene. Renowned for electrifying Camden's blues bars, Tomos masterfully melds the soulful depths of blues with the rustic charm of indie folk.

The upcoming EP “EDGES” serves as an auditory movie soundtrack, encapsulating the raw, gritty pulse of city life juxtaposed against the intoxicating allure of weekend escapades. With a hauntingly poetic vibe reminiscent of Nick Cave, and a distinct Welsh flair, Tomos Eames is a storyteller whose songs navigate the shadows and lights of human experience.

“Black On the Otherside was written after my father died. It’s strangely euphoric as I felt his presence went elsewhere after his passing in a kind of brilliant motion. It’s about life and the afterlife which I have a strong feeling we do carry on somewhere after we shed these bodies! It’s also peppered with memories of his sayings and how life really is a wave we just have to ride it.” - Tomos Eames
