British-born, Costa Rica-based producer TACHES is known for his passion for blending genres and pushing the boundaries of sound, and he continues to captivate audiences with a unique and immersive sonic experience that is both timeless and cutting-edge.

TACHES is proud to announce the release of "Searching For God," a new single that features the talents of legendary artist David Satori, renowned for his work with Beats Antique and Dirtwire. This evocative track is the first of a series of collaborations born out of a chance encounter in the mystical village of San Marcos La Laguna, Guatemala and brought to fruition in the lush rainforests of Costa Rica.

It all began on the Winter Solstice of 2022, at an intimate festival hosted at "Eagles Nest," a unique hotel perched atop a mountain with breathtaking views of a volcano that erupts every 20 minutes. In the heart of San Marcos La Laguna, surrounded by the sacred landscapes of Guatemala, TACHES and David Satori met as neighbours—literally. Their rooms were side by side, separated only by a balcony divider. Conversation flowed easily between them, and it wasn't long before they discovered that they were both headliners for the festival.

After the festival, TACHES returned to Laurel Canyon, Los Angeles, only to discover that fate had more in store. David Satori, of all places, moved just down the road in the same canyon. The proximity promised a creative collaboration, but life had other plans, and it wasn't until the final week before Satori's move to Boulder, Colorado, that the two finally came together to write. What started as a casual jam session turned into a prolific creative burst, with the pair crafting 10 tracks in a single sitting—an entire album was conjured up in just a few hours.

However, the tracks were set aside, lying dormant on a hard drive until TACHES unearthed them while staying in the rainforests of Costa Rica earlier this year. The ambience of the jungle infused the tracks with new energy, evolving them into the sonic experiences they are today. The first of these is "Searching For God," where listeners can hear the subtle sounds of the rainforest woven into the music, blending nature with the duo’s innovative soundscapes.

"'Searching For God' is just the beginning," says TACHES. "There are nine more tracks that carry the essence of the places where they were conceived and the moments that shaped them. I can't wait to share them with the world."

"Searching For God" is available now on all major streaming platforms, offering listeners a glimpse into the rich and immersive world created by these two extraordinary artists. Stay tuned for more releases from this unique collaboration in the coming months.
