Singer-songwriter THERA has released her debut album entitled, I Wish I Called, available worldwide through ICP Group a.s..
The album sees THERA team up with producers Martin Prikryl, Matej Moravek and Matej Belko, along with Nigel Lowis. Since her first single “stain” was released in April 2024, followed by the second single “DLTTI” in June, THERA has amassed over 3 million streams across TikTok and Spotify alone. The lead single from the album titled “guardian angel,” has been supported by Spotify, landing editorial playlists such as New Music Friday and EQUAL.
Hailing from the Czech Republic, THERA is just 17 years of age, but with a clear vision of who she is, and an unstoppable work ethic. Her songs are crafted from real life personal experiences, self-awareness, and with no fear of expressing her honesty for everyone to hear. Her influences growing up include Madison Beer, SZA, Tate McCrae and Rihanna.
In her own words, “Expression through music can help a lot of people understand and get through many difficult situations. I began writing music to help myself, but quickly realised that I wanted to share my experiences with those who may be struggling in feeling alone. If you relate to my music, I hope you find comfort and an outlet in the lyrics” says THERA.
In early 2024, THERA was discovered by Sounds Inc, a UK management team. “Sometimes you uncover a gem! We were immediately taken by her ability at such a young age, to write personal songs about her journey in life that will resonate with her audience, and to be able to deliver them with emotion and passion. A wonderful musician and great talent” says Brian Harris of Sounds Inc.
With further studio sessions in Nashville at the legendary Ocean Way and Sound Emporium studios, co-writing with such writers as Grammy Award winning Steve Diamond and Jeff Cohen, there is much more to come from THERA. She is also currently rehearsing with her band for live concerts scheduled in the UK and US.
