Award-winning British alt-pop artist Chloey Rose is on a mission to rescue our torn souls from the carnage of modern times with her powerfully scented pop ballads and theatrical flair. A captivating presence on stages across the UK and Spain, Chloey Rose has become one of those rare artists who leave an indelible mark on her audience. With a unique style of songwriting inspired by legends like Kate Bush and Taylor Swift, and panoramic, Bond-esque vocals that evoke comparisons to Adele and Paloma Faith, Chloey Rose is carving her niche in the ever-evolving music landscape.

Chloey Rose first burst onto the scene with her cinematic debut single ‘Golden Dreams’ in 2017, a much-loved track that cut through the darkness with its striking melodies and haunting lyrics. Her critically acclaimed single ‘Hot To Cold’ became a staple on BBC Radio and was featured prominently on BBC Introducing Lincolnshire & Humberside, showcasing Chloey’s evolution as an artist and her continued ability to connect deeply with listeners.

Now, Chloey Rose returns with her latest single, ‘Runaway’—a triumphant tune that embraces listeners with raw emotion and top-tier production. This new release marks a significant step in Chloey’s artistic journey, as she steps away from her usual alt-pop ballads to explore a more upbeat, fun, and liberating vibe. “‘Runaway’ feels very different from my usual style,” says Chloey. “It’s a pop track that screams fun, quirky, and liberating. As an artist, I’m striving to show more variety musically and push myself to think outside the box.”

The single was brought to life in Sheffield, where Chloey collaborated with producer Aron Bicskey. The two experimented with songwriting ideas, venturing into new musical directions. “We started improvising melodies over different chords, and the lyrics just started to form,” Chloey recalls. “When I sang ‘What if I’m guilty of everything you’ve been telling me,’ I knew there was something quirky and empowering about the song. It channels attitude and strength, which I hope resonates with listeners.”

‘Runaway’ was inspired by Chloey’s personal experiences, particularly the challenges of breaking free from an unhealthy relationship. The verses convey the confusion and overwhelm that often accompany such relationships, while the chorus captures the moment of empowerment and self-worth. “I want ‘Runaway’ to be healing for those who have faced similar challenges,” Chloey explains. “I hope it inspires listeners to feel liberated and empowered to move forward with confidence.”

Chloey Rose is currently recording new music with local producer and singer-songwriter Harry David, as well as with Aron Bicskey. With her sights set on performing across Europe in 2024 and beyond, she continues to expand her sonic horizons, delivering music that resonates on a deeply emotional level.

Chloey Rose’s distinct blend of theatrical pop, soaring vocals, and emotionally charged songwriting positions her as a force to be reckoned with in the music industry. As she prepares to take Europe by storm, her mission remains clear: to deliver music that not only entertains but also heals and empowers.
