Trip-hop royalty Morcheeba are back with their new single ‘Call For Love’. The track is the duo’s first new music since 2021’s Blackest Blue and their first release on 100% Records.

A hazy, laid back jam produced by the band’s Ross Godfrey, ‘Call For Love’ is quintessential Morcheeba. Drenched in reverb and driven by Skye’s hypnotic vocals, the track is the first taste from their forthcoming album, which is due later this year.

“Call For Love is very grounding, musically and emotionally. The world is so confusing and complicated right now,” Ross said of the track. “An apocalypse is always on the horizon, both personal and global. It is comforting to take refuge in music and love with those close to us." Skye continues, “When it came to writing lyrics for this song, I thought to myself ’what would I like to hear from a certain someone, if and when they were ready to say sorry. As it turned out, it was also what I needed to say to them”. Listen to ‘Call For Love’ HERE & watch the visualiser HERE.

Formed in London in 1995 the legendary band have extensively toured the globe, sold over 10 millions albums worldwide and left their mark as one of the most influential acts of recent times. Releasing their acclaimed debut album Who Can You Trust? in 1996, the band have gone on to release 10 studio albums, including 1998’s platinum selling Big Calm, produced an album for Talking Heads’ David Byrne and produced soundtracks for Oscar-winning director Steven Soderbergh.

In their 30th year Morcheeba are as relevant as ever and are set to mark the celebration in style. Here’s to another 30!
