Twilight Muse, the genre-blending rock and funk collective, has announced their new live album, Collabs: Live at Garcia’s at The Cap, due for release on April 25th. Recorded at the iconic Garcia’s, part of The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY, the album features high-profile collaborations with artists such as John Popper, The Soul Rebels, George Porter Jr., Robert Randolph, G. Love, and Sierra Green.
Leading the charge is their thrilling cover of Stevie Wonder’s classic “Living for the City,” featuring renowned pedal steel guitarist Robert Randolph and blues harp virtuoso G. Love. The live single, out now with an accompanying performance video, captures the infectious energy of their collaboration, described by the band as a jam that “exploded into a full-on party.”
The live recordings highlight Twilight Muse’s evolution, pushing beyond their acclaimed 2023 debut, A Moment Out of Time. The album will include “The Mayor,” a funk-driven original featuring legendary bassist George Porter Jr. of The Meters, highlighting the band’s adventurous shift toward spontaneous live creativity.
Fans can experience Twilight Muse’s captivating live presence again at Garcia’s on May 8th, following Little Feat’s performance at The Capitol Theatre. For more information, visit twilightmuse.nyc
