Kim Wilde announced as Bristol Pride 2025 afternoon headliner

Bristol Pride has announced Kim Wilde as their first headliner for Pride Day 2025. Taking the Afternoon Legend slot on Main Pride Day, the British pop sensation will keep crowds “Hangin’ On” for an unmissable performance on The Downs.
Winner of Best British Female Solo Artist at the Brit Awards, Kim Wilde has sold over 10 million albums and 20 million singles worldwide, making her the most-charted British female solo act of the 80s. Her infectious pop vocals combined with nostalgic 80s lyrics promise to have audiences dancing the day away this July.
Maintaining her reputation as a formidable live performer, she joins the Bristol Pride line-up as part of her European ‘Closer Tour’ with her band, and will perform a string of iconic hits including You Came, You Keep Me Hangin’ On, Never Trust a Stranger, Chequered Love and of course, Kids In America which has over 221 million streams on Spotify.
Taking place on Saturday 12th July, this year’s festival is already shaping up to be the festival’s largest ever line up. With the main festival headline yet to be released, acts already announced for this year’s event include europop and dance legends Cascada, 90s anthem provider Ultra Naté and dark dance music performer Tom Rasmussen. Over on the Cabaret stage RuPaul Drag Race USA favourite and RPDR Canada Judge Brooke Lynn Hytes headlines the stage, along with over 30 acts from across the UK and Bristol.

Kim is a true icon, shaping the British music scene and is the one of the most successful UK female artists. I can think of nobody more deserving to be our Afternoon Legend and It’s an honour to have her performing with us, I know this will be a very special performance as we present our biggest ever lineup for the festival.”
Bristol Pride is one of the largest Pride events to take place in the UK, as well as being one of the biggest festivals in Bristol. From Saturday 28th June - Sunday 13th July, there will be over 47 events taking place in and around the City Centre, bringing together 40,000 people and £3 million into the local economy.
This year’s event will feature over 200 performers across five stages, including the Circus Tent, The Uplift Stage and the Dance Stage, showcasing everything from Ballet to Street Dance. The highly anticipated main stage headliner is yet to be announced. Set on The Downs, the festival will offer more than just incredible performances, with food, markets, bars and family areas creating a true festival experience.
Wristbands for Pride 2025 are available to purchase now, with prices starting at £9. As well as fast track access to the festival, wristbands include a range of on-site discounts and free shuttle bus travel on Pride Day. A limited number of Day+Night and Supporter Wristbands are available and offer access to the official afterparty at the Bristol O2 Academy and a dedicated Super Supporter Area at the festival.
