Sophie Ellis-Bextor kicks off 2025 with her latest single, "Relentless Love," a vibrant, disco-infused funk-pop anthem.

Following last year’s euphoric "Freedom of the Night," this new track brings infectious grooves and soaring synths, culminating in an electrifying chorus. Written and produced by Karma Kid (Rudimental, Shygirl) and Baz Kaye (Jessie Ware, The Blessed Madonna), with additional contributions from JinJin (Raye) and mixing by David Wrench (Jamie xx, Hot Chip), "Relentless Love" is a fresh yet familiar take on Sophie’s signature sound.

Speaking about the track, Sophie describes it as an ode to the exhilarating rush of love, likening it to the thrill of amusement park rides. "Ferris wheels, roller coasters... they give you a rush and shift your perspective, much like falling in love. There’s a romance in getting on a ride together and seeing where it will take you."

Her previous single, "Freedom of the Night," marked her triumphant return to the disco-pop scene, earning a spot on BBC Radio 2’s A-list and reuniting her with longtime collaborator Sophie Muller for a nostalgic music video.

With a career spanning 25 years, Sophie has delivered five Top 10 albums and eight Top 10 singles. Recently, "Murder on the Dancefloor" saw an unexpected global resurgence, climbing charts worldwide and earning Platinum status in the U.S. and U.K. She has since performed to sold-out crowds, supported Take That and Nile Rodgers, and even made a dazzling appearance in Times Square for New Year’s Eve.

Now, Sophie is gearing up for her biggest U.K. headline tour yet, set to dazzle audiences across 16 cities, including a sold-out night at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
