International rock powerhouse The Hives are back, and they’re coming in hotter than ever. The band, widely celebrated as one of the best live acts on the planet, has announced their seventh studio album, The Hives Forever Forever The Hives, set for release on August 29, 2025, via Play It Again Sam.
Promising a sonic onslaught packed with energy, joy, anger, and unrelenting rock & roll, The Hives are pulling no punches with this record. According to the band, every track is a certified hit—every single a knockout blow to the establishment.
Produced by longtime collaborator Pelle Gunnerfeldt and none other than Beastie Boys’ Mike D, The Hives Forever Forever The Hives is a 13-track masterclass in punk-infused rock, crafted in the band’s native Sweden. The official tracklist is as follows:

Leading the charge is the first single, Enough Is Enough, a no-holds-barred anthem of defiance. The track is accompanied by a visually stunning music video filmed in Bucharest, where The Hives take on gritty, cinematic pugilistic personas. Directed by award-winning filmmaker Eik Kockum, the video encapsulates the band’s raw energy and irreverence.
On the song, The Hives declared: “Who in their right mind would start a song like this? No one but The Hives. They are here again sooner than you expected, and they have had enough of everyone at this point. Hence the title. Dig? Dig.”
