Fresh off the success of his critically acclaimed album It’s Only a Love Song, released in January via Bella Union, C Duncan has unveiled plans for an extensive UK tour set to take place from late May through June.

To mark the announcement, the Scottish singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist has also released a mesmerizing remix of Triste Clair De Lune, crafted by Goodnight Louisa. The rework transforms the album track into a brooding, atmospheric soundscape, characterized by eerie sliding synths and minimalist percussion.

Speaking about the remix, C Duncan praised Goodnight Louisa’s unique touch: “Goodnight Louisa is a master of electronic sounds and a good friend of mine. She has taken a song that is somewhat full-on and stripped it right back to create a brooding and sometimes dissonant musical landscape. With her use of sliding synths and sparse percussion, she has put her own very unique spin on ‘Triste Clair De Lune’—bold, unsettling, and brilliant.”
