Lucy Spraggan has officially confirmed the release of her forthcoming album Other Sides of the Moon, due out on 20th June. The highly anticipated record marks Spraggan’s eighth studio album and offers a fresh look at her musical evolution, featuring reimagined versions of classics from her previous records alongside brand-new material.

The album includes standout tracks such as Sober—featuring pop icon Robbie Williams—and fan favourites like Tea & Toast and the recently released Unsinkable, which found a surprise spotlight in a moving montage on Britain’s Got Talent. The moment prompted Spraggan to fast-track the track’s release, much to the delight of fans.

Other Sides of the Moon was developed in collaboration with Spraggan’s longtime friend and mentor, Simon Cowell, who personally oversaw the creative direction of the project. Reflecting on the album, Lucy shared, “As I’ve grown older, I’ve discovered more about my voice—where it sits and where it belongs. This album gave me the opportunity to revisit songs from my younger years and rework them with a deeper understanding of who I am now. It’s a chance to breathe new life and maturity into them.”

Alongside the album announcement, Lucy has also released a stunning new version of Butterflies, a much-loved track originally featured on her 2013 album Join The Club. The reworked version introduces lush new instrumentation that beautifully complements her distinctive vocals. “There’s a sweet naivety in the lyrics,” Lucy says, “but there’s something timeless in how simply it talks about love.”

Spraggan’s career continues to build momentum. With over 150 million Spotify streams, 150,000 albums sold, and a bestselling memoir (Process) under her belt, she remains a fiercely independent artist and creative force.

Currently in the midst of an 18-date UK headline tour, Lucy will continue performing live throughout the spring and summer, including festival appearances and support slots. The tour wraps on April 27th in Bakewell, with additional dates scheduled into August.

Other Sides of the Moon is a testament to Lucy Spraggan’s artistic growth and enduring connection with her audience—an emotional, reflective journey through the past, reshaped by the wisdom of the present.
