The stage inside Camden's Dingwalls is set out like a little lounge -- with a rug that later causes Andy Burrows some inconvenience - and a standard lamp, plus an illuminated globe. It's a rather cosy set-up for a headline show by the former Razorlight drummer - and it rather suits his impressive array of pop-rock. This is the final night of a four gig run in the UK, which has seen Burrows promoting his superb new album Fall Together Again.

Awash with pretty melodies -- and wearing its Beatles influences on its sleeve - the album is one of the year's finest, and Burrows launches straight into a sequence of its tracks, including the instrumental opener Derwen, named after the studio in which it was recorded. The squeeze-like City To Coast, All This I've Heard Before and You Won't Find Love fill the slightly claustrophobic venue and are all almost perfect pop vignettes.

Previous album Company is also plundered with the excellent Because I Know That I Can while a cellist joins the fun for the exquisite Stars In The Sky. Burrows admits during the evening that he is a little too relaxed -- but perhaps his nonchalance is down to the confidence of great songs. He has worked with a variety of bands (including We Are Scientists) since leaving Razorlight and has grown musically. He's been recognised by Radio 2, regularly featuring on the playlist. It's time his wonderfully British pop rock was appreciated by a wider audience.
