The Perishers

Sweden's Perishers have been building a following on the strength of a U.S. tour support to Aqualung and having their tunes used on American teen television drama's The O.C and One Tree Hill. Trouble Sleeping has all the ingredients for a TV drama - smooth, sensual, passionate vocals, chiming soft rock guitars, and a melancholy to fit a multitude of dramatic scenes. Its subtle yet contagious melody without the reliance of any provocative, obvious hook would fit easily in many a background. The coming months, however, should see them take a step to the fore. Keep an eye out for future live announcements and festival appearances.
