Joanne Shaw Taylor has never been afraid of making changes to her ‘formula’. This time around, she seems to be moving towards an Americana sound as she features Sav Madigan on violin.

These days, she is a native of Nashville and the sounds of that particular city are definitely influencing her music.
And it works. That husky voice has just a touch more ‘twang’ but the Blues/rock guitar is still there and Madigan’s violin adds to her music.
It’s a cracking song and if she had stuck to the usual style, it would still work, but kudos for developing her music and producing a superb single.
