Gozer Goodspeed is probably most often known as a truly unique musician, weaving elements of blues, rock, folk and psychedelia together. So, when award-winning songwriter and renowned instrument maker Phil Thomas come to him and offers a custom made one-string Diddley Bow (cigar-box guitar) to find out what he could do with it, well it would be a great opportunity to add something new to his sound.
And new it is.
An outrageous slide-Blues with a massive hammer drum-beat and Goodspeed’s vocals, heavily fuzzed, lying behind the slide guitar.

Essentially a lament to the loss of direction in person and in almost all societies, the navel-gazing versus the obstinate refusers to move forward - and where the ancient gods have disappeared to.

It is a blast from start to finish, loud and out-there and a great way to spend 2.35 minutes.
