Foundry is already filled to the brim and it’s only just after 7, but music enthusiasts have come down early to watch secure support band Keo, before we get treated to an evening with Overpass.
Keo may have only release one song so far but the talent they possess is exceptional, it is truly brilliant. Listening to them feels magnetic and you are instantly drawn into their heavy sound and flawless vocals.
They sound like a mix between Wunderhorse and Nirvana, and it is pure rock perfection before our eyes.
The crowd are more than warmed up and ready for the arrival of Overpass, and as they grace the stage the steel-city crowd go wild.
Overpass kick off their Sheffield set with ‘Be Good to Yourself’ and their energy and passion for the sound they create is clear from the first chord, and the crowd mirror this energy lapping it up.
We are then treated to a few fan favourites including ‘Alright’ and ‘Like No Other’ sending this tension rising even further, and it’s feels exceptional to experience.
During the evening, Overpass treat us to two unreleased tracks including ‘Sandman’ and ‘Union Station’ which are received with so much support by their adoring fans.
The night finishes on a fan favourite titled ‘Beautiful’, and ironically, what a beautiful way to end this set.
