I get the feeling that we are going to hearing a lot from Nashville’s Parker Barrow (taken from Bonnie Parker & Clyde Barrow – the infamous Bonnie & Clyde) in the near future. Not only this monster of a new single but they are also playing a few dates on their first ever UK tour - Chester Live Rooms (July 17), Nottingham Bodega (July 18), and London’s The Grace (July 19), and Maid of Stone Festival (July 20).
They are a powerful and exciting classic rock outfit with Megan Kane on lead vocals. Written and composed by Dylan Turner (drums) and Alex Bender (guitar), “Make It” is the first track released from the band’s new album due later this year.
There is a distinct Southern touch to their sound and the single is pacy and raw with touches of some of the great bands of the past. That being said, they have their own sound and, in Megan Kane, one of the hottest vocalists on the scene at the moment.
Apparently Planet Rock has it as a pick for next week – not surprised, it is a stormer.
