Global superstar Lewis Capaldi returns with ‘Almost’ - a soaring, full-band anthem marking his third new single since his comeback. The track arrives ahead of his newly announced EP Survive - out November 14th.
Arriving hot on the heels of a critically-lauded return to touring after almost 2 years away, and latest success ‘Something In The Heavens’, his tenth UK Top 10 single, ‘Almost’ is a raw and intimate exploration of what it means to move on - or at least try to. Honest and understated, the song captures the struggle to let go. “I swear to God I’m almost alright, I only think about you all the time,” Lewis admits, showcasing yet again his extraordinary gift for finding truth and emotion in the most nuanced of details.
The track follows his standout BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge performance earlier last week and an iconic sofa and performance appearance on The Graham Norton Show alongside Taylor Swift, where he once again charmed audiences with his trademark wit & heartbreaking songwriting.
Upcoming EP Survive - out November 14th - features all three monumental tracks he has released since returning - ‘Survive’, ‘Something In The Heavens’ & ‘Almost’ - as well as soon-to-arrive ‘The Day That I Die’ - a track that has been reducing fans to tears on his recent tour and will undoubtedly be his rawest and most personal track to date.
Lewis’s return has already seen him top the charts, bagging a monumental sixth number 1 single with his comeback track ‘Survive’, to become the fastest selling single of 2025 and that success has also seen his biggest ever opening week sales for a single, surpassing both Sabrina Carpenter & Lady Gaga for this year's biggest opening week singles, and he now joins esteemed company with the likes of Beyoncé, Britney Spears, Drake, Lady Gaga & Queen to achieve six UK number 1 singles, beating David Bowie, Katy Perry, The Police & more, as well as 10 Top 10 UK singles
