Beware the ‘Radio Edit’ version of this single – the original is soooooo much more – well, everything.
Concentrating on the original, the beats are dense and brutal, the synths spit and raise the blood-pressure and the pace gets faster and the intensity builds. Even the vocal, which could be best-described as ‘relaxed’, carries the listener from peak to peak. Not that there will bve too many listeners – this is music for the body, for getting off your face in a hot and sweaty bar and for kissing the universe.
The Tiesto remix is fuller and somehow slower while Lenzman has done a remix that focuses on the beats and loses sight of the brutish basslines and the power that is carried in the low stuff. The album version also has a ‘Pt II Dusk’ section that is a high-charge piece of electrodance – great on the dancefloor but dangerous to be listening on the tube or walking.
The original is awesome and the Tiesto remix works pretty damn well – download and see the lights explode.
