On Saturday night New York rapper Fabolous took to the stage at the exclusive Gotha club in Cannes. His ephemeral set left all 2,500 hip hop fans longing for more!

Fabolous, real name John David Jackson got the party started by giving us a real mix of his huge hits from different musical era’s. He exploded with a head-bopping performance of his recent track ‘You Be Killin Em’ produced by both DJ Clue and Ryan Leslie which he then followed up with his catchy 2009 hit ‘Throw it in the Bag’ featuring musical genius The Dream. He also gave us an energetic rendition of 50 Cent’s ‘What Up Gansta’ which was crazy before telling the crowd ‘I wanna do something for the ladies, but I wanna do some classic shit’. Wooing the excitable females in the crowd he then sang the smooth lyrics from the track ‘You Make Me Better', which features Ne-Yo's sweet vocals.

Clad in an all-black ensemble, accessorised with cool dark shades and a long gold chain, the rapper who is also popularly referred to as ‘Loso’, proved that partying in style is totally his thing. With a bottle in one hand and his other hand raised in the air, he hyped the crowd up further by getting his DJ to drop some hot tracks for us all to vibe to, including Drake's ‘Started From the Bottom’ and Lil Wayne's ‘Lollipop’.

During Fab’s set there wasn't a single person in sight that was seated. One happy girl left the club seemingly very satisfied despite the horrible arm ache she must have had after holding a huge banner with ‘Fabolous’ stamped across it throughout the entire set!

We really look forward to hearing the Grammy-nominated rapper’s forthcoming album ‘Loso’s Way 2: Rise to Power’ (Def Jam) which will be released later this year!
