Bad Brains to reunite on election night
03 September 2008
Washington hardcore punk band Bad Brains will reunite on Election Night (November 4) for their first show with the original line-up in a decade.
The band, featuring HR on vocals, Earl Hudson on drums, Dr. Know on guitar and Darryl Jenifer on bass, will perform at The Club in D.C. to welcome in a new era of American politics (or mourn it depending on who gets in).
The band did a trial run in front of an audience last night in Chicago at the House of Blues. The word-of-mouth show sold out in around 20 minutes.
Bad Brains recently went back in the studio to record the new album ‘Build A Nation’ with Beastie Boys Adam Yauch.
As well as Election Night, the band will also perform on November 6 in NYC at Irving Plaza and November 9 in Austin at Waterloo Park.
