The first song from the upcoming solo album debut for The Killers frontman Brandon Flowers has been released.

‘Crossfire’ is the first song from ‘Flamingo’, Flowers’ 10 track debut.

Songs for this record were written during the 18-month world tour for The Killers ‘Day and Age’ album and then recorded with three producers, Daniel Lanois, Brendan O’Brien and Stuart Price.

Originally, the songs were meant for The Killers but the band went home and broke up instead. "I would prefer if this was a Killers record, although it would obviously be very different if I'd made it with the band," he says. "We're just at different places in our lives right now. It's no secret that they're ready to put the brakes on for a second. It's definitely not the end of the Killers, but you can't blame them—we've been going nonstop since 2003.”
